The current school schedule (8:00-3:04) is too much screen time and is not working. We demand a change to the current schedule that allows us less screen time and more opportunities to keep up with classwork and check in with our teachers. Many schools across the city are giving their students OFF one day per week to work independently and meet with their teachers for office hours. Students report that this schedule is more accommodating and less stressful. We are demanding this change. The more screen time we have, the more stress that builds up. We are struggling emotionally and academically, and a schedule change would help.
