The meeting to approve the pool at 4 Kingston Road is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow via Zoom.  The link to access it is below.

The brief update is that the Village continues to neglect its responsibilities and has not vetted the previously submitted plans, forcing me to hire and pay experts to perform the due diligence they should be doing.

We did discover that the plans DID EXCEED the lot coverage restrictions and FAR numbers.  The developer responds by making changes to parts of the plan, trying to circumvent what the rules were intended to require which is responsible building.   While the destruction has been done to the hill and property, the builder has gutted the house, leaving a shell.

We submitted the list of changes to the plans that the builder made and want the Village staff to review them and send this back to BAR for approval.  The article 78 lawsuit is still pending.

Action Steps:

Please attend the meeting and speak out about your feelings regarding the addition of a pool to the already oversized project. This site is not suitable for this project!
Please forward this to other Greenacres or Scarsdale residents because while this is in my backyard now, it will be happening to a house near you if drastic changes are not made within our Village.
