Hi Everyone, The saga continues as the Village ZBA will AGAIN entertain the last minute submission of the developer to have the pool approval after claiming changes made to the plans make it compliant with Village code pertaining to impervious surfaces and FAR regulations despite no evidence being provided to contradict my hired experts or allowing the ZBA members enough time to review the plans for themselves.

Please attend the meeting in person Wednesday night and insist that this desecration of the property and neighborhood not be allowed to continue any further.

Dear Mayor,

I wanted you to be aware in case you had planned on attending the ZBA meeting.

Yes, I am aware that you are not permitted to respond under advisement of Mr. Pozin although the litigation pertains only to the decision of the BAR approval of the project in March.   

The rest of the matters I keep raising separately from the litigation pertain to the continued failure of our Village departments to properly review and handle the other parts of the development of 4 Kingston Road. The house has been gutted and now remains as a shell although Mr. Pozin will not definitively address whether this was done without proper permits.  Another concern I raised and remains unanswered ever is whether the asbestos and lead based hazards in the house were removed properly or legally.

The objection of my discussion of these matters with the elected officials is not proper, in my opinion.

I should not be (or have been) paying to hire experts to review the plans or drawings or push to enforce the Village building codes and rules.  Regardless of the financial and time commitments I have made, I remain committed to the development being done responsibly  and properly for this house and the rest of future developments in the Village.
