Going before the school board next week!
Aug 15, 2015 — UPDATE: First, I want to say thank you for the unbelievable amount of support we have received across the whole nation. It has been completely overwhelming! I never imagined that I would get such a huge response and it has been amazing. Thank you! Second, I want to say that I apologize to any of the school members or faculty that have been "bashed" on social media. It was never my intent to "bash" anyone, merely to draw attention to what I feel was an injustice in our school system. I think it is very important for everyone to know that our school is one of the top rated school in Kentucky and probably nation wide and our faculty members are amazing educators! I for one appreciate all of their hard work and dedication to our students! The issue here was in the ridiculous dress code not in the conduct of the faculty. Lastly, I want to announce that the principal met with a group of high school students and came to an agreement on a reasonable dress code change proposal and are taking it before the school board next week!!!! It will be in the school boards hands now, hopefully the out come will be favorable!!! I will keep you updated!
