Please sign this petition to preserve the West Campus Upper Plateau, a beautiful open space surrounded by residential homes in the Mission Grove and Orangecrest neighborhoods in Riverside, CA. Since February 2022, a developer has proposed a giant mega-warehouse complex on this land, including one building larger than 21 football fields. Mega-warehouses bring greater noise and air pollution, increased truck traffic, degradation of the environment, and reduced quality of life. The developer recently rebranded the project the "March Innovation Hub" but left the 143 industrial acres untouched. 

In June 2024, under immense public opposition, the March Joint Powers Authority Commission voted to table the project. But in March 2025, the developer resurrected the project and sent paid canvassers into our neighborhood to highlight project "changes" and collect signatures of "support" from neighbors. While the "new" project has more park space and fewer business-park and mixed-use buildings, the mega-warehouses have the same square footage as the original plan. 

For three years, the community has said WE DO NOT WANT WAREHOUSES on the West Campus Upper Plateau. To counteract the propaganda of the paid canvassers, please add your name to this petition and let the March JPA know what the community REALLY thinks.
