Hopefully you will not be fooled by the clever presentation of how LBB make it sound like a public facing museum. Nor by the unfit for purpose plot of land that has been offered to appease the Friends of Priory Gardens. We think the archive is important and understand that a solution has to be found. However this is not the location for storing archives. It adds no value to the community.
It is really important that LBB hear your voice

The deliberate mothballing of our Historic England location that deserves to be preserved supporting the balance between construction and green spaces in this immediate area.
An attached graphic shows just how close 2,000 plus extra residents will be in Orpington High Street, 480 meters. With strong links to the park being factored into the planning by Redcliffe Capital.
This Park, this Urban Open Space is the lungs of the community and we strongly recommend that it is preserved for the benefit, well-being and accessibility of everyone.
Thank you for supporting this for yourself for our children and children's children. Planning for the future here is important and not the quick fix cost cutting exercise we see in this proposal.
