Every morning this is the mess I pick up!

Why should our ENDANGERED State Faunal Emblem lose their trees to make way for more of this litter? 

Oh I know, they'll put in a rubbish bin!  Experience tells me they won't be used when it's easier to just drop the litter for someone else to pick up.  It's this same attitude and human behaviour that will not encourage pedestrians to use a $19 million graded overpass when it's shorter and easier to use the current lights controlled crossing just 30 metres away.
