“Dracula: A Love Story” adlı hikâyede Fatih Sultan Mehmet'e ve Türk tarihine yönelik yapılan çarpıtmalar biz Türk oyuncular tarafından haklı olarak eleştirilmiştir. Ancak bu eleştirilerimize karşılık bazı Rus fan topluluklarının ırkçı, küfürlü ve aşağılayıcı söylemleri sosyal medya ve Telegram gruplarında açıkça ortaya çıkmıştır

Biz tarihimizi seviyoruz ve savunuyoruz. Hiçbir milletin kültürel değerlerine hakaret etmiyoruz ve aynısını bekliyoruz. Bu tür söylemler ne eleştiri ne de özgürlük değil, düpedüz nefret söylemidir. Romance Club ekibi bu tutumu görmezden gelmeye devam ederse, bu sessizlik, ırkçılığı teşvik eden bir tavır olarak görülecektir.

As Turkish players of the “Dracula: A Love Story” series, we rightfully voiced our objections regarding the misrepresentation of Fatih Sultan Mehmet and Turkish history. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the criticism, some Russian fan groups responded with blatant racism, insults, and degrading language

 

We respect all cultures and expect the same. This is not freedom of expression — this is hate speech. If the Romance Club team continues to remain silent, that silence will be interpreted as support for racism.
