If you own land, a quinta (farm), or any smallholding this new law may impact badly on your investment.

Protecting our right to own land is in our opinion one of the keystone of human rights. If land ownership is a right, then obviously so is the right to develop that land. This means that building a property on your own land is a fundamental right.

Currently that right is under serious threat.

In my previous broadcast we brought to your attention the risk of expropriation, in this one we raise another alert – the second in this series – the serious risk that if you own land you may no longer be allowed to build on it.

LET’S MAKE LAND & PROPERTY OWNERS VOICES HEARD!

First thing is take all property owners voices - those that want us to represent them to the Portuguese parliament.  With that in mind we are busy uploading various petitions in electronic format supported by a paper version (In English and Portuguese)

The first one is already up and you can find it on this link, if you haven't signed yet, if you own land or other property we invite you to sign it now:
