The cost of running the planned manifestation has escalated significantly and is a lot more expensive than we had originally estimated. As a result we need your help if we are to have a successful manifestation while the debate about the oil and gas drilling by ENI/Galp is taking place. We estimate that between 500 and a 1000 people may participate in this manifestation in Lisbon. We are busy organizing buses from Algarve and Alentejo, our colleagues are talking to local musicians based in Lisbon, we have to buy and pay for T-shirts, Posters, banners, etc … Here’s what we need urgently need funding for: BUSES / AUTOCARROS 2 buses – estimated and quoted cost by Eva Transportes is 750€ per bus. If we are not successful in securing buses from two municipalities for free, we will have to secure them ourselves, and will be incurring an estimated 1500€ cost. This money will have to be paid in advance when we book the buses. Currently we have already reservations for 54 seats already and the buses are filling up fast.
