WE WON ROUND 1! COMMISSION DEFERS THE BRIDGE VOTE FOR 30 DAYS
Say No to Low Bridges on the Coral Gables Waterway
Thanks to 335+ supporters like you, we’ve made a huge impact! The City Commission deferred the vote on the bridge, giving us 30 days to review the issue and push for a better design.
Where We Stand
We support the bridge—but it must be built at the right height. Bridges south of US1, like Hardee Road (14 ft at high tide), should be the standard.
Special Thanks
A huge thank you to the Waterway Advisory Board, especially Chairman Doug Yoder, along with members Levi Meyer and Juan Galan, for their tireless efforts. We also appreciate waterway homeowners, Peter Baumberger, Anibal Duarte, and Alfredo Izaguirre for speaking out and influencing the decision.
What’s Next?
This is just Round 1—we need to keep up the momentum!
