Human trafficking is an unlawful act of transporting or coercing people, in order to benefit from their services, such as forced labor or sexual exploitations.

Human trafficking mostly affects women and children. Anyone can be trafficked but some are more vulnerable than others. Traffickers operate through child sex trafficking, online exploitation, forced marriage and forced labor. 

Persecuting Traffickers and seeking justice may not be enough. We need to work together as a society to increase support and services for the vulnerable; like homelessness; family violence, poverty and discrimination. 

We have to act now to save lives.  Also enforcement of basic labor protection will reduce labor trafficking.
