Thank you all for your help in getting us to this point; we have 1,131 signatures to date!

 A major next step is coming up: this Tuesday, December 3rd, the Committee on Housing Sexually Violent Persons is having a meeting at 2:00 pm, at the County building in Elkhorn. You can attend via zoom if you are busy but would still like to participate. That link should be available on the county website soon. 

To attend in person, the address is: 100 W. Walworth Street, Elkhorn, WI. 

This committee is the group responsible for making recommendations to the County Board on how to proceed. Walworth County is probably going to build a site to house our 4 violent sex offenders; this is a great time to tell them that we don't want the development built big enough to house offenders from other counties. 

It is also a great time to  tell the committee that we don't want this located at Hodges Road. A church and families with children should not be forced to have these people as neighbors. One of these guys has sexually assaulted a child younger than 4. Let's keep him away. 

Please consider speaking at the meeting. All you have to say is "My name is __________,  I live at _____________, and I oppose both the Hodges Road location and sex offenders from other counties coming here. Thank you."
