Say NO to Coles and Palantir - Human Rights Over Profits

Say NO to Coles and Palantir - Human Rights Over Profits
The issue
Boycott Coles Now! — Stand Against Corporate Complicity
Coles has partnered with US defense contractor Palantir, a company notorious for building surveillance and AI systems used in war zones and human rights abuses worldwide.
Palantir’s technology has allegedly been linked to:
- Lethal AI and surveillance systems deployed by the Israeli military in Gaza, contributing to tens of thousands of civilian deaths.
- “ImmigrationOS” for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), used to track and deport immigrants, fueling family separations and abuse.
Now, Coles is rolling out Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) and Foundry across 840+ Australian supermarkets, embedding these controversial tools into its workforce management and supply chains.
This partnership isn’t just about “efficiency.” It ties one of Australia’s biggest retailers directly to a company complicit in mass surveillance, deportations, and alleged war crimes.
As Coles’ COO Matt Swindells proudly declared, this collaboration “empowers front-line teams” with Palantir’s tools. But these are the same tools enabling oppression and violence around the world.
We refuse to accept this.
By partnering with Palantir, Coles is normalising corporate complicity in human rights violations.
👉 What you can do:
- Boycott Coles supermarkets and services.
- Demand Coles cut ties with Palantir immediately.
- Add your voice: sign and share this petition.
Together, we can send a clear message:
Australian consumers will not support corporations that profit from oppression. Human rights must come before profit.
