EE ignore local residents and schedule works at the start of Lower Road

Local councillors are extremely concerned to discover that the County Council has approved road closures and works being undertaken by EE between 1 June and 5 June at the junction of Lower Road and South Road.

On being informed of this earlier in the week we immediately contacted EE to confirm whether these works relate to the installation of the proposed 5G mast on Lower Road. We also expressed our severe disappointment that the commitments made to us by EE two weeks ago that they would take time to listen to residents’ concerns and engage constructively with the community appear to have been totally ignored.

Over 48 hours has now gone by since we contacted EE with no reply.
