Please don't think we have given up on resisting this 5G mast in our local school playing field – WE HAVE NOT!

Today we received the following message from the Department for Education:

"Thank you for your correspondence in relation to the proposed telecoms mast at St Saviour’s Church of England Junior School. We replied to you on 3 October to confirm that the matter is still being reviewed internally and that correspondence is still ongoing with Kent County Council. We stated that the matter would be considered by the decision maker in due course.

At present, the update remains the same. Whilst we are aware that preparatory works have commenced on site, these are permitted under the Interim Rights Agreement. In the event that the Code Agreement is not finalised the land would be reinstated to playing field land.

The Secretary of State has not yet made a decision on the Code Agreement and we continue to liaise with Kent County Council."
