It was cold this morning but this was more than offset by the warm hearted people of Medstead and Four Marks that we met under the Four Marks clock.
EHDC are suggesting that our villages are sustainable i.e. we can walk from our homes to the shops, schools and facilities within 20 minutes, the so called 20 minute neighbourhood. The implications being that M & FM should be considered as a tier 2 settlement rather than a tier 3 and hence should be able to take more housing.
The people we spoke with today clearly didn't believe that, and it was evidenced by the stories they told us.
The aim of our travel survey is to provide factual data to support their actual experience.
It was interesting, that the conversation that came up again and again today was the massive amount of development Medstead & Four Marks have already endured and that 'enough is enough'
