Dear supporters of the clickety-clackety sign at 30th St. station,
There are now more than 100 of us who have raised our voices up from the minutiae of daily life to say clearly and without hesitation, "Really, Amtrak?"
From where I sit on the eastern bank of the Schuylkill, I see 30th St. Station, its marble (marble? limestone? Inga, if you're here please factcheck) exterior glowing in the winter sun, and I know that there's a sign in there, clicking and clacking away. If we do nothing, these clacks will be its last.
100 people found this with only some shares on Twitter and no news coverage (Roberto...). Let's bring more people into the fold and let Amtrak know that we Philadelphians will not let yet another authentic part of our city be destroyed in favor of some screen without us at least fighting. All of which is to say, please share on Facebook.
-Yours in struggle, Clickety Clack
