On Friday July 28th, the City's Administration Office released its report to City Council in regard to the future of Curling at Roseland.
The report is to be presented to council on Tuesday, August 8th @ 4pm. The report can be read in its entirety here, Item 11.5 - Future of Curling in Windsor.
The report includes a listing of options discussed at the April 3rd Budgetary meeting along with cost considerations and the administrations recommendation to council. They've also included the complete results of the City's survey.
The committee will have a complete response to the City's report soon.
A final note here, none of this would have happened without you, the supporters of this cause. We raised a concern with the City and held them accountable to some measure of due diligence. This is not the end of the line, we will continue to hold the city accountable and ensure the best decision is made for all of Windsor and Essex county curlers.
