Already, more than 1,000 of us have signed the petition, in just three days after the rail companies announced they were implementing drastic cuts to our train services. The claim of ‘engineering reasons’ shows what it is really about – they can’t introduce the planned “high capacity electric commuter trains” going from StPancras to Corby twice an hour until they complete the engineering work. They seem to have forgotten that they were pretending to be consulting about that (and haven’t finished analysing responses yet). The truth is no real engineering need is ever going to mean the only trains you can’t stop at a station are those going in the peak direction at peak time. We are not going to let them get away with it without a massive fight. So, now we need to grow the campaign into one so large they can’t ignore us. if we are going to grow we need your help please doing some of: helping out financially (directly, or by giving us things), displaying a poster in your house/car etc, handing out leaflets, turning up at protests, sharing the petition and posts with others etc. Please indicate at the new form https://goo.gl/forms/miAYM58q3pGSP46l2 This is different from the form you might have already filled in (please still do fill that one in at https://goo.gl/forms/R14XEmbb9OsMp4sJ2, and please also sign our sister petition at www.change.org/p/department-for-transport if you haven’t yet). But for now, please show how you can help at https://goo.gl/forms/miAYM58q3pGSP46l2 Thanks!
