We are fighting to make a change to bring Hayden’s Law not only to Virginia but to every state in our country. California is the only state  with this law in place. Hayden’s law would prevent a Rescue from euthanizing any dog, cat, or animal if another Rescue has requested to pull the animal. Pull meaning take on and care for. 

Marley was euthanized even though she had several rescues willing to take her. They euthanized her on 2/26/23 during our Rally to save her life.   Originally her euthanasia date was sent in an email to Marley’s foster mom stating it would take place on 2/27/22. Before our attorney could file TRO on 2/26/23 to stop Marley from being euthanized she was indeed euthanized.   The attorney representing that rescue was told on 2/25/23 that our attorney was going to be filing the TRO.

 We are now holding a vigil at the same location we held the rally. The vigil is from 5 to 7 this coming Saturday, March 4 2023.  We would love all of you who can make it to join our candle lit vigil. We will also be asking that if you cannot attend that you please light a candle take a picture and post to your social media.   We need to fix this broken system and protect the ones that have no voice!
