#SaveACC - Preserve the Premier GT3 Simulation!
Das Problem
LowFuelMotorsport (LFM) recognizes the historic achievement of Kunos Simulazioni in creating Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), the definitive simulator for GT3 racing. ACC is not just a game; it is the official platform of the GT World Challenge and the essential foundation upon which our entire professional racing ecosystem is built. We function as a critical infrastructure partner, securing the continued relevance of ACC in the highly competitive sim racing market.
We take note of the announcement that development resources will now be shifted to Assetto Corsa EVO (AC EVO) and that ACC will no longer receive "significant changes" in the future. This signals the end of the feature cycle. However, the assertion that ACC is already a "very stable and effective platform" cannot be maintained from the perspective of organized endurance and sprint racing.
The reality is that critical flaws in ACC's core functionality acutely endanger competitive integrity, requiring adjustments from developers Kunos Simulazioni and publisher 505 Games. The problems concern the Balance of Performance (BoP), the driving physics model, tire management, and various server-side bugs.

ACC Update Necessity: Critical Bugs and Competitive Integrity
ACC Fixes Pitch for Kunos/ 505 Games
The consequences of this development decision are crucial for the future of LFM and the ACC community. Current plans, such as the planned console launch of LFM Daily Racing, are on hold. The continuity of ACC Daily Racing, our core business, is uncertain. Without a final, stabilizing update, we no longer see a basis for using ACC as a platform for top-level esports events in the future. This ultimately threatens the continued existence of LFM in its current form, as ACC remains the strongest sim in our core Daily Racing business.
Should there be no final update, the future for ACC as a serious title will not look good. We fear that the developer Kunos is also accepting damage to its reputation due to the unclear and inconsistent communication of late.
The current handling – such as teasing an update, followed by its withdrawal after a long waiting period – does not foster trust among players. LFM sees considerable development potential for Kunos in communication here, taking the transparent and continuous customer communication of titles like Le Mans Ultimate as a benchmark. We welcome the step toward an official Discord server, but the consistency of communication is not sufficient from our point of view. We are therefore greatly concerned that the Assetto Corsa brand could lose a massive number of players due to this unreliability.
We would like to enter into open, transparent, and trusting communication with Kunos so that confidence in the future direction of the Assetto Corsa franchise is maintained and further strengthened.
Kunos and 505 Games face a strategic decision: by fixing these flaws, they not only secure the legacy of ACC but also preserve the reputation of the Assetto Corsa brand among the most demanding drivers – the very drivers who represent the future target audience for AC EVO.
To underscore the community's desire, we are launching an ACC community-wide petition today. We call on the entire ACC community to sign this petition and thus send an unambiguous signal to the developers about the number of drivers interested in seeing ACC remain a competitive sim on the market even after feature support ends, and continuing to race in it. ACC is the "definitive" GT3 simulation on the market, and the community wants this status to be maintained and further strengthened, which will benefit the entire community and, above all, KUNOS itself.
We would like the listed errors to be fixed. In the best case, we would like more content. We are convinced that Kunos can also create a good source of income with this.
