Attention residents of Sienna, Silver Ridge neighborhoods, and surrounding areas,

Your peaceful, nature preserve like neighborhood is at stake of losing its economic value, serenity and green space on Knight Rd & Watts Plantation Rd. West, due to rezoning from Rural Residential to Commercial or PD (planned development).  

If approved, a cheap 5-level hotel and separate 2000 capacity event center will be erected on Knights Rd right by the Silver Ridge neighborhoods on wetlands… with much more commercial developments to come that will add to the congestion on critical points of egress on Knight Rd and Watts Plantation AND add even more stress to Sienna Parkways clogged mess.

This area is classified as wetlands by the US Fish & Wildlife Service. It serves as crucial protection against flooding and is home to a range of beautiful animals - bald eagles, owls, 20+ bird species, deers, rabbits, and many many more!
