Belsize Society has applied for Asset of Community Value (ACV) status, and with the official support of CAMRA North London and other local groups, we are working together to ensure the site remains a pub.

It’s important to note that an ACV doesn’t prevent current owner from selling the property or applying for planning permission to change its use. 

Therefore, we urge that whoever owns the property and does not wish to operate it as a pub gives the opportunity to someone who is committed to running it as a pub, ensuring it remains a vital community hub for generations to come.
