Young performers who wish to pursue a career in the arts are losing yet another platform to do so. By closing the Performing Arts and Music courses, new students are forced to find new colleges & our staff relocated. Without our college, pupils in the local area can only take one course, a Level 3, rather than alongside other A Levels, which Worthing offers. We have our own theatre & dance studio which will be put out of use. Many of us wouldn’t be pursuing our passion if it weren’t for our Performing Arts department & it’s amazing staff. Dance, Theatre & Music is already underfunded & under-recognised. To make the industry more inaccessible is heartbreaking.
