Victory for the Save Downderry campaign in Cornwall offers hope to Save Woodcot campaign.

The campaign to save 
Downderry Methodist Chapel which is only 26 miles from Salcombe has many similarities to  the Save Woodcot campaign.

It has been a community hub for years…

It occupies a plot with million pound views

It was saved by community people power…

It was being sold by a charity the Methodist church who saw the light and did the right thing…. 

The local community took action and turned it around
