Woodcot is being discussed.

The campaign to stop Age UK selling Woodcot is now entering its sixth week.

Salcombe Town Council must be applauded for their statement  on the council website which shows just how seriously they are taking the Woodcot issue. It’s worth a read and  is indicative of just how  relevant local politics is to our lives and how necessary it is that the community engages. Let’s never take that freedom for granted. 

At the last full council meeting in July, several former councillors and honorary residents turned up to show their support for Woodcot. There were no dissenting voices over this important town matter. This month looks to be no different.

Let’s forget the labels… whoever you are if you care about Salcombe then you care about Woodcot. All  17 acres of it. Woodcot matters. 

Salcombe matters. The town council matters. The people serving your town deserve your support. Woodcot deserves your support.

Come along on Wednesday. It’s your town council,  there will be a seat for you. Salcombe gives us all so much pleasure- it’s time for us to show Salcombe how much we care about what happens to Woodcot.
