We're beavering away in the Village. Lots of great things happening .... villagers joining the Trustees to shape the way forward ... advisors on board to help with legal issues .... Morris Dancers turning out for a Sunday Tearoom of beer, dancing and singing .... local cycling and run clubs coming to the village for coffee and cake .... warm words from Archdeacon Kirk that he will help us .... finding other halls in the local area in similar situations and learning / sharing experiences with them .... videos made by local well-wishers .... looking at what funding might be available to renovate the hall IF we manage to buy it .... 

Never underestimate what a gang of people can achieve. Even if we lose this fight, I believe we are a better village for the work we are doing together. Every mug washed, email read, abbreviation explained, website trawled, petition signed, biscuit eaten, brow furrowed and eye rolled is taking us forward. We will take significant steps forward by Christmas, and the support of petition signatories is crucial to the positive impact of our campaign. Please, tell people what we're up to. Share the petition by email or on social media, come to the next tearoom (Sunday 11th December, 10am onwards) and keep in touch!
