After withdrawing their previous application for Plot A1 (the woodland plot) in early March, a new planning application by FM Group for plot A1 went live on the Council's planning portal on Monday 26 May. The deadline for comments is Friday 20 June.

This new proposal is for two blocks of six storeys each and a total of 154 apartments. To view the planning application and associated documents, and to comment, click here.  

As a campaign committee, our position remains as before: ANY development on ANY part of the wider Ponds site would be unacceptable to us, as it would fragment this much-loved, naturalised blue-green space and disrupt the precious wetland and woodland habitats that Nature has created here.
