West Valley residents can have an even bigger impact: San Jose City leaders and staff respond to outreach from concerned residents who will be negatively affected by this proposed warehouse-in-a-neighbohood.

Use the links here to email and call San Jose city council members and the planning and public works departments to express your concerns.

• Make your concerns clear and specific, whether it's safety, traffic, noise, pollution, etc. Give examples.
• Propose alternatives: this petition is about appropriately right-scaled development that fits San Jose's "Urban Village" and "Envision 2040" plans around mass transit and pedestrian friendly neighborhood development, not a 4 ac warehouse with constant traffic and noise.
• Make the call and send the email. Don't assume "someone else already said what I want to say". The higher the volume the city hears, the more they know the scale of our concerns.
• Always be respectful. Reasonable voices are more likely to be heard
