This evening, at 6:30 pm, if you have time, you can come and join us at 64 Victoria Street for the Westminster City Council Planning Hearing that will be examining the case for and against the application by the HMLCF for a Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre in Victoria Tower Gardens.

Or you might be able to stream it www.westminster.gov.uk/stream-council-meetings

We are very much hoping that the Committee will find in our favour, against the proposal, and that there should be a recommendation for REFUSAL.  Unfortunately, however, this is not the end of it, as even if it does go as we hope,  the Secretary of State has manipulated the system in an un-precedented manner to obtain that there will be a Public Inquiry before he or she makes the final decision.  This evening however is an opportunity for a large number of us to show the strength of our arguments, and to listen to the Councillors debate the various points.  There will also be a number of high profile Supporters present.  will they show their hand?  Will they listen to our arguments?

You can find online the Officer's report, which is very useful and informative.  https://committees.westminster.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=388&MId=5360&Ver=4

Please support us and wish us well....We will no doubt need help for the next phase, heading towards the Planning Inquiry.
