Every one of the wonderful 9681 of you who has signed this petition, and of course anybody else who is taking an interest in this city-wide controversy, is cordially invited to attend this second Public Exhibition organised by the UKHMF. It would be wonderful to have as many of you as ever possible in attendance!
This exhibition will offer us a last opportunity to comment on this scheme before it is officially submitted to Westminster Council, in order to request planning permission to proceed. It should also serve the purpose of giving the proponents of this totally unwelcome development a measure of our unwavering opposition to it being built in our wonderful Park.
The exhibition will take place, as previously, in the Church House Conference Centre, Great Smith Street, SW1P 3NZ on Wed 5 December to Friday 7 December between 12-7pm; and Sat 8 December between 10am-4pm.
As mentioned in my last Update, we have been kept totally in the dark regarding the evolution of the proposal since the first exhibition in September - but we have not a glimmer of hope that our previous objections might have been taken into account.
If following your visit you are asked to comment, please remember that THE MOST IMPORTANT TIME TO OBJECT WILL BE DURING THE COURSE OF THE PLANNING APPLICATION CONSULTATION, as the Planners will take little notice of comments predating the application.
If however you do comment at the exhibition, we would be grateful if you could also copy your comments to us (my email is bw@weiss.net) - I suggest that you can use your phone to photograph the comment and then send it on to me. It might be very useful for us to have a record of such comments at a later date. Do beware of 'trick questions' that seek your approval in devious ways...
Many thanks!
