Save Two Indian Nationals Subramaniam and Chelladurai sentenced to death at Qatar

To

Hon’ble Smt. Sushma Swaraj,

The Union Minister for External Affairs, India.

Hon’ble Shri. Narendra Modi,

The Prime Minister for India.

Hon’ble Minister/ PM,

Vanakkam!

Two Innocent Indian Nationals namely Shri Alagappa Subramaniam and Shri Chelladurai Perumal has been sentenced to death by the Court of Cassation (Supreme Court) in Qatar.

Nowadays, it’s an entertainment for the Qatar Government and Qatari Nationals to kill Indian Workers at Qatar and falsely report as suicide and accidents.

There are no forensic evidences and no witnesses to prove the charges levelled against the Indian Nationals.  There is no deposition of witnesses and none of the witnesses were cross examined.

About 300 Indian Workers died in Qatar due to the greedy and wealth crazy inhumane Qatar Government during the year 2016.  The construction workers were forced to work at high temperature during the day hot sun without drinking water, without hygienic food, unclean toilets and accommodation.  Many Indian workers were murdered and falsely reported as suicide by Qatari Employers.  Qataris has a mindset of treating Indian Workers as slaves and bonded labourers and so most of them were exploited by not paying their monthly wages and so on.

According to the figures released by the London-based human rights body, 279 Indian migrant workers died in Qatar in 2014, published in the Times of India Newspaper dated 31 May 2015.

A graphic published in the Washington Post now doing the rounds on social media contrasts the relatively small numbers who died building facilities for other recent international sporting competitions - from the Beijing Olympics to the Brazil World Cup - with the 1,200 said to have died already in Qatar, published in the BBC News Website dated 6 Jun 2015.

I request the Hon’ble Union Minister for External Affairs and Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to take up this issue with immediate direct intervention with the Ruler of Qatar and save the Indian Nationals by releasing them and repatriate them back to India without further delay.

If these Indian Nationals were not released and send back to India safely, I will organise indefinite protest before the Qatar Embassy at Delhi and Qatar Consulate at Mumbai, with the whole strength of Leaders and supporters of Indian National Congress Party.  The Government of India will be held liable for all the damages and consequences related to this issue.

This is for your information.

Thank you.
