Hey all,

I want to give another big thank you to everyone who has signed and shared the petition so far. Because of y'all, we've reached a whopping 5,000 signatures in 24 hours! We students cannot express how proud we are of everyone who has come out to support us. We've been contacted by numerous social figures and civil advocacy programs such as the Women's March, FIRE, and more who are willing to help us boost our cause.

However, this fight is not over. Dr. Wendler has yet to issue a statement either rescinding or doubling down on his statement, so we must still fight. Student organizers have confirmed that protests will be occurring every day for the rest of this week Wednesday through Friday. The protests will all happen at noon at the Buffalo fountain on the WTAMU campus. If any of you are in the Canyon-Amarillo area, or are willing to drive out to support us, we would be more than happy to have you attend our protests and spread the word about our cause.
