The Willet Farmhouse is a historic structure situated in Fort Totten Park, Queens. It is the oldest structure on the property and predates the Military base itself. The structure is from 1829 and has been abandoned since the 70's. The city has had plans to restore this structure in 2012 and the plans have fallen through over and over. 

Time is running out to save this historic structure, as there is further damage to the roof, and the plot becomes more and more overgrown.

This building could be a great asset to the Bayside and Bay Terrace community as a museum. The building is perfectly situated next to the Bayside Historical Society, parade, and soccer field, along with others.
