If you haven't already, please "share" our petition page so all your friends and family to see and ask them to share it too. The only reason that 5,000 isn't 10,000 yet is because people don't know that our train is in danger! So what are we doing? Right now we're looking to create a Non-Profit to start fundraising to fix the long route of the Washington Park and Zoo Railway. Back on March 15th, 2018, the City of Portland Council showed interest in working with Dana Carstensen who offered, during public testimony, to fundraise all the money needed for full repairs. We believe the City of Portland was genuine in their interest but needs to see the overwhelming public support that would be required for a successful fundraising campaign. So lets keep up the momentum and show the City of Portland and Metro that even more people want to save the Washington Park and Zoo Railway. Share, share, share!
