Since my last update, Lauren Clark of News 3 Las Vegas (KSNV) interviewed me about our petition and reported a UNLV professor of Las Vegas gaming economy's agreement that "it might be a mistake" to demolish The Volcano!
"'The volcano really had a huge role in identifying the new Las Vegas,' he said. [...] 'It’s just something that people when they think of Vegas, they think of the volcano.'"

Today, I was contacted by the political reporter for the #1 most read newspaper in Vegas, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, regarding a story they plan to publish on Sunday regarding Hard Rock International's plans for The Mirage.

Our Next Steps
We're moving forward with plans for more interviews with global media. As we receive more requests, I'll let you all know here.
Our new petition goal is 10,000 SIGNATURES by the end of February. We're more than 30% of the way to that mark, and we're giving ourselves six weeks to accomplish the remaining 70%.
