Hello everyone!
Since my last update to you, this petition has CAUGHT FIRE with the local media bringing the issue to the global news audience. Over the past 24 hours, we have collected over 800 new signatures, bringing us to nearly 1000! Every 60 seconds, someone is adding their name to this petition (and at that rate, we probably will have reached beyond 1000 before I hit the "send" button on this update. Super exciting!!)
Our local Las Vegas media was the first to publish Yan Kaner's report ("Hard Rock says goodbye to volcano as part of remodeling Mirage") -- thank you so much to Yan and the Vegas media! Shortly thereafter, the global media picked up the story and began to re-publish it on news sites across the world.

Since this media blitz began, I have become aware of the obvious need to stoke the fire more around Las Vegas and on the internet as we get closer to the point where we approach Hard Rock and MGM's execs and PR departments and present our appeal to them.
This promotion isn't easy, nor does it come without financial costs. Flyers, travel, supporter swag, cloud storage, social media campaigns... it all adds up to $$$$

It's an impromptu meetup given the sudden news coverage, but we (Fluffer Paws and I) will be at The Volcano along Las Vegas Blvd tonight (weather permitting of course -- it may be windy). Just look for a guy with a giant red-and-black wolf's head, and two guys with smartphone cameras hanging together. You'll definitely be able to find us!
