Update: Sylvania Arts Board Takes First Step on Triad of Trees

Dear Supporters,

Thank you again for your advocacy on behalf of the Triad of Trees. We want to update you on the outcome of the Sylvania Arts Board meeting on August 21, 2025.

After hearing public comments and reviewing the report, the board voted to form a committee of board members and community representatives to further evaluate Seney Park and gather estimates for possible beautification. Importantly, this committee will also review the future of the Triad of Trees.

While this is a positive first step, it is not a guarantee that the Triad of Trees will be preserved. The committee’s work will determine whether professional evaluation and restoration move forward—or if other outcomes are considered.

Your voices made this progress possible. The petition now has 447 signatures, and every signature and share strengthens the case that this piece of Sylvania’s identity and heritage deserves serious consideration and preservation.
