A newsletter from the Royal BC Museum stated:

Happy New Year! 2024 was a busy year at the Royal BC Museum. We reopened more of the core galleries including Jonathan Hunt House, Our Living Languages: First Peoples Voices in BC, HMS Discovery, the waterwheel, the cannery and Fort Victoria. We also hosted three visiting exhibitions and welcomed the legendary Terry Fox Van into the lobby."

Yes, that's right these galleries are coming back, from a museum that only a few years previously was essentially condemned.
