We have just over a week until the public consultation on the future of pencalenick and we want to present a strong voice.

Many people nationwide will find this cause a familiar one. A council that has increased council tax, parking charges year on year yet recklessly wastes money over decades and is now desperately clawing it back-at the expense of our most vulnerable. So whether it's spending over £300k on storage for wheelie bins this year, over £1 million on a failed space launch, sending £20 million to another council (which then declared bankruptcy anyway) or hundreds of thousands of pounds defending themselves in the special needs tribunals (and losing)- Cornwall Council need to know that our children's livelihoods are more important than a spreadsheet.

We're asking as many people to share the link as possible with a brief explanation and asking others to sign

If your using social media, setting the link to public and adding hashtags like #specialneeds #cornwall #disability #cornwallcouncil will spread the word nationally. This may be a local school in Cornwall but it's a much more national problem which many people will want to support

Residential provision is so important for our children, the skills they learn and the independence they achieve as a result of them are completely invaluable
