Petition to Burtonwood and Westbrook parish council to allow the residents of burtonwood to reopen and renovate the recreational building, Gorsey Lane.

We the undersigned are opposed to the demolition of the recreational ground facilities. 

We call on the parish council to: 

• Reject the proposed plan to demolish the existing building 
• Allow the residents to form a committee of users and manage the facility for the benefit of all. 
  
  

This facility contains everything we require to retain our football team’s position in the league.

We also wish to encourage the residents to use the facility for the various clubs.

For example the women’s institute, the amads society. Cyclists and ramblers plus those other community services wishing to return to the rec.
