Dear Supporters,

We wanted to provide an important update regarding the zoning administrator's review of the Kappe Residence. The zoning administrator has indicated their intention to continue the item, meaning they will not be taking any action on the matter this coming Monday, December 9, at 2:00 PM. As such, there is no need to attend the virtual meeting originally scheduled for that time.

While this temporary pause provides additional time for dialogue, it remains vital to submit your comments in opposition to the demolition. Your voices are crucial in advocating for the preservation of this architectural treasure. Please email zoning.administrator@longbeach.gov

We are thrilled to share that we are nearly at 1,500 signatures on the petition! Your support and commitment to speaking up for the Kappe Residence have been nothing short of incredible, and we are so appreciative of every single one of you.

We will continue to keep you updated as conversations progress with the city and other stakeholders. We remain hopeful that the property owners and their architect will be open to discussing potential win-win scenarios that ensure a positive outcome for all parties involved.
