Today, the Beaufort County Public Facilities and Safety Committee voted unanimously to authorize funding for the Cherry Hill Oak parcel purchase. What a great day! Arborist Micheal Murphy. On September 11, at 5:00 p.m., the full council will vote to approve the purchase. The property closing should be complete by September 30. Congratulations, and many thanks to all the citizens who helped bring us to this point. Very soon, Beaufort County will have a new passive park.
