For years, this chapel has served as a vital sanctuary of peace, silence, and deep spiritual reflection. It provides an indispensable benefit to the people of Newcastle, Maitland, and surrounding areas who seek a dedicated space to encounter Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.
We formally request that the chapel remain open to the public every day between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. This timeframe ensures that workers, families, and elderly residents have reliable daily access to pray, seek solace, and find spiritual renewal.
Repurposing this space would remove a cornerstone of local devotion. Please listen to the hearts of your flock and leave this chapel as a permanent place of adoration for the benefit of all the faithful.
