Hello everyone!

I wanted to thank you personally for signing our petition. Your voice will go a long way in our efforts to protect the Baylands from an airport expansion!

In fact, on Monday, September 16th at 6:30 pm, we will be presenting this petition to the Palo Alto City Council and tell them why an airport expansion can not come at the cost of the Baylands and how it would harm our communities.

I want to keep this message short, but I have a few things to ask of you.

Please share this petition with your friends and family. We need to make a powerful statement to the City Council on Monday, and we need your help to make it the most impactful: change.org/PAbaylands.

For those who live in Palo Alto or are affected by the airport: If you are interested in raising your voice to the next level, we are looking for as many speakers as possible for the September 16th meeting to address the City Council either over Zoom or in person through public comment and tell them why you care about the Baylands and/or why you don't want more noise and air pollution. If you are uncomfortable with public speaking but still available, we are looking for people interested in ceding time to presenters either through Zoom or in person so that they have more time to make their case to the Council. If you cannot attend the meeting but still want to express your views to the Council on Monday, we strongly encourage you to write to them at citycouncil@cityofpaloalto.org explaining why you oppose this dangerous airport expansion. Once again, thank you so much for raising your voice to protect our Baylands.
