Update 1

Dear all,

Thank you again for your strong support and for adding your signatures.

I’m pleased to share that, in addition to the online petition, we have now formally lodged a paper petition with Council. This included 20 handwritten signatures, exceeding the Council’s minimum requirement of 10 to submit a formal petition.

Councillor Alex Sangster has agreed to present the petition on our behalf. We have also provided Council with a link to the online petition, which has attracted over 180 signatures in just one day.

The Council meeting commences tonight at 6:00 pm. We will keep you updated on the outcome.
