Recent storms along the Oregon Coast carried more sand into the European Beachgrass, raising the height of sand dunes along the coast. Blown sand nearly covers the Beachgrass here. Soon, the grass will grow back to normal height above the raised dune and be ready to catch more blowing sand in this unchecked process.
