We are delighted to be able to tell you that Severn Trent have announced that they have dropped their plan for the pipe

They will will instead invest in upgrading the treatment of sewage at the Bishop’s Castle wastewater treatment works

We would like to thank all of you who supported our campaign by signing the petition. It demonstrated the strength of feeling in the local community and beyond 

And we would like to thank Severn Trent for listening to those concerns and taking swift action to drop the plan for the pipe
