Save the old Williamsburg waterfront!

The Issue

There is a part of the Williamsburg waterfront that is still abandoned has virtually been untouched for decades and is a piece of history and they are planning on building a park on top of it and 2 luxury buildings. destroying it will cause more grief and destruction of the past, which is rampant in this city. I believe there is merit to conserving this area, many locals and tourists enjoy this little time capsule oasis, nothing is left of the old waterfront and the people of williamsburg have enjoyed it for generations . The majority of the waterfront has already been developed so people who want a brand new park with amenities have their needs met already with Marsha P. Johnson and Domino and the developed part of Bushwick Inlet park next door.
